The Haunted Halloween  Market will be located in Guildhall Square and surrounding area and consist of Bakery & Sweet Concessions, Crafts and Fast selling Items ONLY

Please note:

This application relates to the following product offering ONLY:

  • BAKERY & SWEET CONFECTIONS (Non-cooked or cold food items that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates, Sweets / Bakery / Cakes / Craft chocolates / Artisan ice cream)
  • CRAFT (Ceramics / Jewellery / Knitwear / textiles / Wood / Print / Photography / Glass / Cosmetics / Metal / Miscellaneous)
  • FAST SELLING (Toys / Balloons / Light Up Toys )

A separate application process is open for Street Food vendors. 


Derry City and Strabane District Council welcomes applications from individuals and businesses interested in trading at the 2019 Halloween Festival.  Our aim is to select a vibrant mix of traders to create a ‘Festive Ambience’ and to enhance the shopping experience of visitors to the City. In the lead up to the festival, primarily, we want to attract traders who sell food and non-food goods not normally associated with more conventional retail / shopping outlets.


Trade Stand Fees:

Costs shown below are for the duration of the festival (7 days trading) for a 3 metre (frontage) x 3 metre trading space.  Traders requiring a larger trading space will be charged accordingly i.e. a craft stall with a 6m (frontage) x 3m with electric will be charged: £400 (first 3m frontage) + £400 (second 3m frontage) + £30 electric + VAT = £996.00 for the duration of the festival.

Bakers & Sugar Confections

(Non-cooked or cold food items that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates: sweets / bakery / cakes / craft chocolate / artisan ice-cream)

£600 plus VAT

= £720.00

Fast Selling Items 

(Toys / Balloons / Light Up Toys )

£700 plus VAT

= £840.00


(Ceramics / Jewellery / Knitwear / Textiles / Wood / Print / Photography / Glass / Cosmetics / Metal / Miscellaneous)

£400 plus VAT

= £480.00

Electric (if required to trade)

£30.00 plus VAT = £36.00

The above costs cover your trading licence, security, stall hire and electric (if required to trade).
