Halloween week is almost here, and the Strabane Library is ready to deliver a spine-tingling line-up of family-friendly fun of Halloween shows– but with limited spaces, you’ll need to act fast!
On Tuesday, 28th October, Barking Dog Productions will take audiences on a double adventure with two captivating shows. They include -Frank n Steins Teddy – A fun, interactive adventure with Eddy the Teddy, featuring puppetry, mime, and songs. Eddy gets separated from his best friend Sammy Ragdoll and soon runs into Frank and his friend Stein, who have lost their Teddy. They decide Eddy should be the replacement, but Eddy has other ideas and promises to find their Teddy so they won’t want him anymore. Suitable under 6’s, this heart-warming and humorous story is perfect for younger audiences. Show is at 2pm. Tickets £2.
The Ghost Hunter – By William Hope Hodgson (adapted by Mike Brooks), this is a perfect treat for Halloween. Thomas Carnacki is a Sherlock Holmes–style detective specializing in the supernatural. Suitable for ages 5–10, this spooky tale offers thrills and chills young detectives will love.. Show is at 4pm. Tickets £2
Then, on Thursday, 30th October, Guinness World Record holder Ray Bubbles will dazzle audiences with a series of ‘The Ultimate Bubble Shows’, featuring astonishing bubble tricks, magical potions, and mind-blowing illusions that will leave both kids and adults spellbound. Showings are at 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm. Tickets are £4 Family of Four £12.
And that’s not all! Don’t miss FREE family fun on Halloween Day, with arts and crafts, a Halloween disco, and face painting all at Strabane Library.
