How do I get to the Festival?
Derry is located in the stunning North West of Ireland, the charming city of Derry~Londonderry is very accessible by air, sea, rail, bus and road. For full details on how to get here, click here.
Derry Halloween offers plenty of car parking and accessible parking. For more information, this is available on our website by clicking here. For general information on car parking across the city, click here.
Motor home parking will be available this year on all four nights of the Festival. Keep an eye on our website and socials to book.
City of Derry Airport is just 15 minutes from the city centre. Belfast International and Belfast City Airport are around 1.5–2 hours away, and Dublin Airport is approximately 3 hours by car or bus.
Yes. Translink and Bus Éireann operate services to Derry/Londonderry, and special Halloween travel arrangements — including extra services or park-and-ride options — may be in place. Check back closer to the event for updates.

Translink operates the Ulsterbus, and NIRailways integrated public transport system – you can reach every corner of every County in a couple of hours.

This stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site was either formed by volcanic activity, or built by a legendary Irish giant, depending on who you believe… our bets are on the giant!

The Dark Hedges (1 hour from Derry)

An iconic filming location for Game of Thrones; but you don’t need to be a fan of the show to appreciate this gorgeous avenue of beech trees.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (1.5 hours from Derry)

Get your adrenaline pumping on this famous bridge, near the charming village of Ballintoy. It’s almost 100ft above sea level – if you’re feeling brave enough to cross it!

Dunluce Castle (1.5 hours from Derry)

These castle ruins, perched on a clifftop, date back to the 1500s. But the first settlement here goes back even further, to the first millennium.

Binevenagh Mountain (30 minutes from Derry)

Soak up stunning views over Lough Foyle and the surrounding countryside at this unique Game of Thrones filming spot, just half an hour from Derry.

Malin Head (1 hour from Derry)

Hike along rugged coastline, breathe in the salty sea air, and enjoy the view at the northernmost point of Ireland.

Mussenden Temple (1 hour from Derry)

On a clear day, you might spot the Scottish coast from this 18th century temple, perched high on rocks overlooking the Atlantic.

Royal Portrush Golf Club (1 hour from Derry)
